Back from youth retreat!

Played Captured the Flag, some other fun and interesting game, and captain's ball. I think captain's ball was super fun. Hahah :D Then uncle Jeff came to talk. Made us memorise the first half of the books. Awesome! All the stories and stuff :D

We slept reallyy late (or early). After our ice cream party, we went to bathe and watched Facing the Giants. Afterwich idk what we did, watched Rachel play piano, Charmaine playing the guitar and singing (she really sounds like Corrine May!!!), hear her composed songs (reallyy good) till about 2+am? Then the girls + kor went to the kitchen to do the bottle/cup thing. (XP you know this!! Hahaha) I think we were damnn loud. Luckily the neighbours din complain. :D So yep. We 'played' till 3. Then went to brush teeth and stuff and went to prepare our beds with the hall chairs! Hahaha. Charmaine went round taking pics and we decided to take a few pics tgt! So yep. A mini 'cam whoring' session started. We aimed to stop at 345. And I guess we kinda did? Lol. Then tried to make ourselves comfortable on the chairs. Becca and Rachel gave up and ended up sleeping on the floor. Hahaha. So yeah. We tried to sleep. But started talking. HAHA. Kk slept at I think 410? Ard there.

Woke up at ard 830. T_T Had devo and breakfast! :D Rebeccas and I ate some ice cream. Haha! Mad uh. But we also ate bread luh (:
Uncle Jeff came in to talk again. Memorized the rest of the books, then slacked and played Yani!! Haha damnn fun. But I was the first to die. Sad. Becca was damnnn lucky luhh! At the end, she Yani-ed ard 6 times in a row? Wtheck right. Lol. So after our game, we packed up, rearanged the chairs and went for lunch at the Bedok bus interchange there. Rebecca, Rachel and I had Ban Mian. Ohoh, you know those normal plastic cups. Those that can throw away kind. Becca, Charmaine and my sugarcane costs $1.50 each. But Rachel's Ching Chow cup was huuggeeeeeee. And it only cost her $1.10!! Mad right! @_@ So we headed to church by MRT. Met Aliza there! Hahaha. She went back home to bathe, change and eat. Damn fast.

So yep, got to church, changed and went to buy some sweets to keep us awake. Lol. Woah the skittles sour sweets are mad luhh! I gave Becks two at a time. Haha (Y). :D


I can't really remember the exact stories.. But here goes... :

One day, in the beginning, a guy went to the bar and ordered a Guiness. After he was done drinking, he left at the exit sign and went to shop at orchard road. But a fashion police caught him not wearing levi's pants which was against the law. So he got sent to jail. While in jail, he took out his handphone and dialed numbers to call his mum wondering how he could escape. They came up with an awesome plan and finally managed to escape. So he happily went to orchard road again. However, the same fashion police came up with another law and caught him not carrying a deuter bag. So back to jail he went.

Joshua the judge stood up and said he conquers the whole room. However, a guy declined cos he was already dedicated to Ruth. So Samuel asked if she would marry him and she accepted. But she didn't like the ring cos they were supposed to be kings. So they seperated and the kings became a divided nation.

*Does the chicken dance actions and sing the books tgt with them.*
1st action - history teachers like to talk alot.
2nd action - flapping our wings like birds returning home.
3rd action - rebuilding
4th action - claps hands to encourage.

There was this guy who's job was an accountant. His boss fired him and was suffering. So he went back to his home to look through all his sums. He saw many 7s. And got reminded of the song '7 times a day' and started to sing it. While finding for another job, his friend went over to him and told him that nowadays in the world, you must really be a pro at verbs to find a job. Then he went to an exit sign and started singing songs.

*In the British accent. LOL
I say that jam and lemons are easy to deny.

A girl was jumping on her bed and shouting "ho seh! ho seh!" while throwing jello and famous amos cookies. Her dad came in and shouted "O bad Diah!"

Jonah borrowed my car and was humming to a tune as he drove to a bak kut teh shop.

A zebra with nine stripes hugged a guy named zac efron. And since he's so handsome, we think he's mixed blood of malay and chinese.

Hahaha. Okay you might be damn confused reading all those stories which doesnt really make sense. But yeah. It helped us to rmb the books. :D

Did Amath the whole of today. Even did it for 4 hours in one sitting! lols. Quite mad but I'm glad I managed to do it. This is how I should be doing work since the starting of this year. Haha. Anw, back to school tmr! Aren't all of you excitedddd? :DD

This PBB selection camp really taught me alot of things. It's the first time I've been thinking and pondering so long about it. Esp the devotions and sessions. Like we must take care of our bodies cos it's the temple of God. We must also be stewards of the other 3Ts. Time, Talents and Treasure.


& I think GB's one of the best CCAs in the world. It helps you make loads of new friends, learn lotsa new stuff, instill discipline within us, bond with girls who were strangers just a few days (or hours) ago, sing lots of fun songs..etc. :D
It's only in this family where we can sing those songs learnt from super long ago and still be so enthusiastic about it. ^^

Anw I was listening to the radio just now. They were saying sth like Kris Allen is a very boring guy. No matter how good his album is, he is just too boring. He's too nice and all, happily married~~ Then one of the deejays were like.. He should probably cheat... Cheat on his wife and go dat Megan Fox or something.
Wtheckkkk. So it isnt good that he's a nice guy. -,- riteee. What is this world coming to??!

Oh and my parents and bro are back. They're on so-called home leave for 1 week. Does it affect me? Anybody helpppp.
But I guess it doesnt uh. So I'm just gna go out and to sch as per normal. :D

Like you know 20th june, while we're having our PBB selection camp, we saw Rachel, Huiting & Ms Foo! Idk why but I was damn happy. Lols. Even though Kindness was awesome too. But like seeing them just makes me smile :D

Yep and the sch hols aren't extending. Quite sian but I guess we need to go back to sch too. Os isn't far away y'know. So yep, all the best to everyone trying their best to chiong finish all their homeworks! :D

Back from the PBB Selection camp!
It was fun!
& Kindness was awesome!

DAY 1
Woke up at like 5 to prepare and pack all the last minute stuff. Changed into full-u, then headed to school to meet the rest at 7. I had quite alot of time actually. Haha! Din wna be late. Kk soo, Ms Foo booked a taxi for us to go to GB HQ. There were quite a few girls there already when we reached. We felt damnn nervous luh. So found one bench to sit. Then we saw some girls going from one wall to another excitedly. They were checking out their groups! So we did the same lol! All 4 of us were split into different groups. And that Michelle...grr. Kept saying she scared she dunno anybody in her group and stuff. In the end, her pri sch friend was there. Lol wtc.

Anw, had inspection and photo-taking then went to our dorms. I chose the bed at the end :D Oh and there was air con too! Shiok. Lol. Changed out and had some ice breaker games. Had talks, and our group had dinner duty. It was a damn mad rush. But managed to complete it and report in time cos the other groups helped. THANKS! :D
Had another talk, then evaluation and supper then sleptttt. (:


DAY 2!
Woke up at 6 for QT, then washed up, 5BX then breakfast duty. Kinda sucked.

Then it was group planning time. We mainly focused on special night cos there were tons of things to be donw. Jaslyn and I were the emcees so we had to come out with the script.

It was devotion next. The pastor showed us this damn amazing video. I was super humbled just by watching it and I couldn't sing the song after that. :/ But it was great reminder of how Christ died and how much He suffered just to forgive us.

Had a short break, then another talk about being set apart. Then it was lunchh! We had porridge. All of us were like.. Wah porridge for lunch! When we were having some hike thing afterwards. Lol.

Anw, the hike thingy was just going to some nearby parks only. We played traffic jam, then to another park for the rubber band game. The one where all of us have to skip at least 5 times together, when we go in one by one. Kept trying but failed. So we asked our facilitator if we could all jump as a group together from the starting for 15 times. She agreed! So just after a few tries, we succeeded! Woohooo! Our officers said we took ard 1 hour. Haha coolios. Headed to NTUC after that to get our dinner for outdoor cooking! We decided on pasta+cambell soup as the sauce. But ended up getting udon. Kinda sad. But it's okay! Turned out great too. At least got the saussage I liked. (Hahaha, Esther!) :D

Kkk so we were informed that we were gna sleep in the.. erm.. Shelter? Or concourse. On cardboards. Kinda cool. Lol. But when we were reporting for duty at the common areas before sleeping time, some of our group members saw a rat and we heard a cat. Wtc. Oh and it was my first time drinking green bean soup. Lol! Yea so anw, I guess I slept kinda okay? Even though I woke up one or two times. :D


DAY 3!
Woke up, 5BX, QT, loadsss of sandwiches for breakfast, group planning time for special night, devotion and a talk. Then lunch and energizer. It was quite fun+funny. Lol.
Then had games. I like the A E I O U one! Hahaha.

Then shower time. Kindness chionged. We all din shampoo and soap ourselves. I think. Lol. All quickly bathed then discussed more on special night. The duty group let us have our dinner first so that we could do some last minute stuffs. Thanks! :D

Then it all started. The games (pui! Hahahaa!), then worship then the shows. It didn't really went as well as we expected. The script was changed last minute due to time constraint. But I guess it went on quite fine? Really did hope the girls enjoyed themselves.

Had area cleaning and inspection then... GUESS WHAT! Yep. We had guess what. HAHA. The officers ran the show. Teaching us songs that they learnt when they were girls. Cool luh! Can bring them back to our companies and teach them! :D Think I lost a littleee of my voice from all the singing/shouting. HAHA. But it was fun though!

Had supper and evaluation. This time we all ended quite late. But Kindess ended the earliest. We stayed up to do the peer evaluation thingy. But kept talking bout other stuff. So slept at like 1+ 2am. @_@ it's like.. Joey finished the earliest. So the rest of us were still doing. Then dunno how suddenly we were talking bout Cambodia..then bout BB boys..then Cambodia again.then bout the disgusting rats at village works. HAHAHA. Got back to doing 'work', and after awhile, yep! Started talking again.
Lols wtc. Suet Ki slept the last. I slept second last. Heh.

Kk the next morning. Zhi Hua's alarm rang. All of us were like.. arghhhh off the alarmm! So she did. And we continued sleeping till 630. Hahah! So all of us rushed to get ready, took temp and got ready for 5BX. Had QT then breakfast.

The mosy enjoyable breakfast I must say. Actually day 2's crabmeat + egg sandwiches were nice too! But it was just too much. This morning's breakfast was potato salad with chicken and bacon beads. Nicenice! The amount was sufficient too! :DD

Kk then area cleaning. As we guessed, the basement toilet was leaking. >:/ anw, went back to our dorms, chit-chatted while some of us were re sewing their pocket crests. Polished boots and changed into our full u. Had inspection and all and went to the hall for devo.

Then lunch and back up to the hall for sharing and evaluation. I went up with Jolene and Joey! Haha. Kay it ended quite fast. The officers gave us a paper and an envelope to write what we have learnt and what we wna achieve in 6 months time. so that in 6 months time, they will mail it to our house. Cool uh. :D

Kk yeah so had another phototaking and vesper. Then breakcamp! When I on-ed my hp. Loads of sms-es came in. But when I read my bro's sms, I started screaming. Cos he said that our hols may be extended due to h1n1. When Kindness heard of it, we all screamed. And sooner or later, the whole camp were screaming. LOLS. Damn funny luh. Then I read the sms again. He said "may be" extended. Ugh. HAHAHA.

We said our goodbyes and went off! Eunice and I took Zhi Hua's advice to take a bus to Serangoon MRT to train down to Bishan via Circle Line! WHOO! And it was damnnnn fast. Yay circle line! :DD Instead of 45min-1hour back to Bishan, it took only ard 5 min? Whoooooo! :DD

We didn't have fire drill or changing parade or wtv. Yay! :D Zhi Hua was damnn scared cos her company never had any of those before. :O

Kk so anw I walked home, bathed then slept. When I woke up, saw arshad's sms that there's the P5 training camp thing tmr. Zz.
So I set my alarm clock to wake me up to go to sch by 930. But I offed it and went back to sleep. First time going back to sleep after my alarm rang. Haha. Then Stella called me at like 925. And I'm like wtcrap. But end up finding out that we got cheated cos it was just a dry run. @_@ Zzz.

Went for lunch at pastamania with Stella, Char and Arshad. Then to NTUC. I bought the powerberry thing. Haha nicenice! Then we went to buy yami yoghurt! Char treated me. Yay finally :DD Ohyes.


Through this camp. I did quite alot of firsts.
I first... :
drank milo with cereal inside.
drank those instant cereal.
drank and ate green bean soup.
became an emcee with such short notice and an impromtu speech.

I also din know how small Singapore was until I found out that Karen knows Bryan Chng, Zhi Hua is Ivan Yeo's cousin and Joey's GB coy saw our sch's BB coy in Cambodia. :O Cool uh. Lol!

And I guess this camp really thought me alot. Not to always assume, ask if you really don't know, we must all take care of each other, (there's still a whole lot more though) and.. Kindness is super awesome. :D


Oh, my maid was having a sleepover party for the past few days. So shiok right. D: Her friend was even learning malay from her. Lol wtcrap. No la, she's just my uncle's maid cos his family went to malaysia so she stayed with her for the few days.

Parents + bro coming back tmr night! Mustmust do some work alr. Arhhhhh.

Ohoh I didn't vote for the channelnewsasia thing for holidays extension. Because if you really think about it, we need the teachers' help and all. But of course I wouldn't mind having an extra week of holidays cos I have yet to finish my hw.

Why is it that when you do something, sometimes you don't realise the consequences? I mean. You might think there wouldn't have any consequences, but those (I'm sorry to say) stupid and irritating people make you regret your action. It might all be in the name of fun, not meaning anything or whatsoever, but those people just spoils it and make things bad for everyone.

Anywayyyy. Mum + Dad + Bro have left Sg early in the morning. I was too tired to wake up to say bye to them. I can't believe I still stay up late just to complete my work even though it's the hols. :/ Yea so when I was about to leave the house to go for dnt, I heard the sound of rain. Dampened my mood further. Ended up taking 54 to sch instead of taxi with joyce and alicia.

Started on practical today. :DD even though the first part was just spent waiting and waiting and waiting with weiting. LOL. Okay I was kidding about the 'with weiting' part. Actually I was waiting with her before lunch. But yeah. The later part of the day seemed more productive. Though I think like 1/4 of our time was spent going up and down the stairs. HAHA. Stayed till 7? Then homed(: Even kor reached home before me. Haha!

Initially, my plans for tmr was just to rest and relax at home and get ready for camp. But now, I have to go back to sch for DnT. Hopefully I can get my things done. Not planning to stay that long too though.

Reuben showed me this starking show just now. Omg Retardedness! Superrrr funyy. XDD Hahahah I was laughing like mad till my maid and bro thought I went crazy. Thanks Reuben! Lols. I needed that. Esp after a long tiring day.

But just as I was about to step inside the train, I realised I forgot the bring the thumbdrive for the KK Church. Zz. Sooo, I took a bus back home, got it from my maid, took a bus back to J8 and too MRT to church. LOL. Smart right. Wasted like.. $2+. Considering someone who hardly spends money on transport. Heh.

Think I should really start doing work and stop using the com. Even though I go back to sch like it's a normal sch day.

Neways. It's the June hols. Yeah everyone knows that. Just thought I should remind y'all to take a break or sth. ;D cos it really doesnt feel like a holiday. We have to go back to sch almost everyday. Well I only don't have to go back to school today apart from week 4. :DDD

Rachel's form teacher is kinda mad. She calls each one of her students to wake up at 7am just to go do work. Then in the afternoon she'll call them again to ask what they're doing. Wtc right. Hahaha.

Oh. Chinese Os for both the written papers are over! :D really hope I can pass. Plsplspls. And Rachel is insane. She said she's aiming for an E8. Wth right! Mad.

Hmm, so now it's just going back to school. Mostly for dnt. 9-5. @_@ well but I guess we need/deserve it. Yeah so by the time I reach home, I wouldnt have any mood to do any work. Cos my mentality now is.. : it's the holidays! i've been to sch for 8 hours! (okay maybe 7. 1 hour lunch break) i've done my part, let me rest for the night?

I started watching after Chinese Os. Now I'm at episode 24! :D Lol. Whoooo! Thanks uh, Abigail. She and Valerie kept on talking about it during chinese lessons before Os. It's like. Before Chinese Os = Chinese intensive lessons = see them more = hear them talk more bout BOF = made me wna watch it. Hahaha so here you go.
Yep and it's because I've been watching BOF that's why I havent been updating. Lol sorry.
