Yeah. School's starting very very soon. 2 more days. It's like.. The same week. And all of a sudden, school starts. :/

I havent bought school books nor a new school bag nor new school shoes yet. My that red deuter bag is like dunnohowmanyyearsold already. It's been to loads of countries and have lots of memories

I'm kinda happy today. We taught all the councillors, that went for the dry run today, the dance. Nicenice! Cos all of us managed to finish teaching! Esp the girls. They were awesome can! Fast learners!(: Was really tired man, after the whole thing. Haha. And they were so eager to learn the duet and the turning part! Lol!

Anw, it's New Year's Eve alr.

That's fast. Right? :/

I do have a few resolutions in mind. But, like always, I don think I'd follow and keep to them.
But...Yeah. HAHA.

I'll need to study hard no matter what right? (:


Hmm, I feel like going out tmr before I go to church for watchnight service. Anyone? You think my parents will allow? I'm gna stayover alr anw. :DD Can't wait!

DRILL CAMP!

Yeah. Most of us dread it the day before. Forcing ourselves to pack the stuff needed. Dad sent meHh and I to sch cos it was drizzling.
Okay, don wna be so long winded.
All in all, the camp was quite fun. We were able to have solid bangs. Learnt fancy drill. Funfunfun! All the meal time jokes and sufferings would be remembered! :D

We had badgework during camp too. Lots of badges needed to be done. One is service in church. And like, the sec 3s decided we shall do the lead devotion for 6 weeks. We thought we should have fun devotions again. Like what we had when we were in sec 1. Soo yeah. We're gna try! :D
Ohhh. The Christmas Celebration. :DDDDDD

Kk it started with a dinner. Finally it wasnt the cai fan [packet rice] food. It was a so called buffet. Haha. No la, just buffet style. Even so, we still had to finish some food. Like the salad [which was nice], fried rice and baked beans. And that Natasha. Damn joke. We asked her to take like.. ard 1/3 of the baked beans. Cos Ms Foo said we must finish it all up. So nat took like one full plate of it! Omg. Damn mad. We finished it all luh in the end.

Went up to the MPR and the celebrations started! Sang some songs first. Haha! We all went highhhhh~ LOLS. Kept on 'dancing'. Hahaha!
Then we played pass the parcel. Qutie fun too! Haha. Mel and I din kena anything. But the rest of the sec 3s did. LOL. :/

After that we played some game and had the gift exchange! :DD

Didn't sleep too well the 2nd night though. Dunno why also. Think cos of all the muscle aches. :/ Lol. Well, had a great chat with meHh before we tried to sleep yea! :DD

We had to report at 8am on Sunday morning. Yay! Means we woke up later. Haha. Had breakfast. Guess what I had. 2.5 slice of bread. 1+ cup of milo. About half a fried chicken [the stall 1 kind] and 5 biscuits. Super full can. =.= Went to lppc for church. After which we had area cleaning. Rachel, Felicia, Michelle and I had to clean the CCA toilet. ><" Yikes. Found a few different types of hair. LOL. :X Quite sick yea. After we passed inspection, hurried to dnt room, put back th mop and joined th rest who were waiting for us to do fancy drill. Yea, with lots of people looking at us. Like.. We were in th middle of the parade square while the church people were in th canteen, at the piano area and the concourse. Some random guy came up and took pics of us doing drill. lols. Took a company photo and broke camp! Distributed the prizes and bused home. (:

Bathed when I got back and used th com. Then slept for ard 1.5 hour? Then mum woke me up to go to uncle's palce for bbq. @__@ was practically stoning the whole time there. My aunty kept on asking "are you awake yet? you still look like you're sleeping!" LOL. Ate full full. Even though I told myself I cannot eat too much. Was forced to. Again. :/ Anw, I skipped lunch so I guess it was okay uh. Reached home at ard 1130. Slept at 1145.

Had to be in sch at 815am. Mum drove me there. :DD Was tired much. Kor came for a lil while. Until Mr Ho interupted his talk. So he's gna go back tmr? I think. Lol. Finished at ard 1? Started practicing the dance. Danced till like 445? Omg can. Super super tiring. But we were very productive! We managed to finish learning the whole dance. But obviously still can be improved. :DD Walked home after that. (:

Legs are aching like mad now. From drill camp to the dance. Arghhh!
Dry run again tmr at 1pm. Gna dance too. Heh.

Think I should rest my legs now and maybe do some work? :/

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Yay. Today was quite fun. Woke up, watched some teevee.

Then played Wii with bros. Our uncle bought us a Mario + Sonic Olympic Games game. Super fun! Hahaha. So we dragged our going-out-for-lunch time till 230! The most mad sport was 4x100m swimming. My hands almost dropped off my shoulders can! Lols. K anw, bros and I ate at Carls Jnr while the adults went somewhere else. Ate half my burger and passed it to bro. And poured about half my fries to his side. Lol! Oh, and ard 1/3 of my drink was passed to him too. Even though I was really hungry before that. :/

Anw, went back home... And guess what?! I used the com!!! Yay!! -,- Okay nvm. Saw my bros playing Wii again.. Sooo.. Yep, played with them. Haha! MAd!
Now? Give up liao. I need energy for camp tmr(: Younger bro still playing though. Haha.

So we had drill yesterday. Not as tiring as monday. After drill meHh and I went to someplace at dhoby ghaut to see th amps. On the way there, some people from th show scoops [or sth liddat] on okto stopped us and asked us some questions. We really crapped our way through. They asked something like .. "Do you think you are sheltered or well informed with news nowadays?" I have no idea how to answer at that point of time. So we just said we were sheltered. Then the lady asked why. !!!! Crapped more. Lols. Come to think of it, should have said we're well informed. Heh. Nvm. Hope they delete us and wont appear on tv. (:

Anwz, learnt some new stuff bout the amps and everything. Kinda confusin though.

Went to ps for awhile then homed.

You know what. Idk but I think I feel kinda excited for drill camp. Like finally we can come tgt as a contingent and practice drill. And most of all? Learn fancy drill. :D
But the thought of it after christmas is ughhhhhh.

Had drill just now. Super tiring to me. Think it's cos of my hectic schedule. Not enough sleep and stuff. Anw, now whenever I breathe in deeply, my chest and back would hurt. No idea why. :/
Slept right after i bathed and had my lunch. Super tired. And the noisy construction outside my house ain't helping me at all. -_-" Everything seems to be going against me these days. :(

If I'm going for drill tmr [which I most probably am], I'd really be shocked at myself for such committment. I just feel really sian going for drill. Sometimes even feel like asking my mum to write a letter [which she would be most happy to] to excuse myself. Maybe it's the holidays and loads of people are overseas [which i did miss a few sessions cos I was in Japan]. But I'm sure there are people who purposely pon drill sessions. And I'm really frustrated with those few people. Here we are in school, faithfully going for drill everyday and there they are busy sleeping at home or going out with friends..etc. Do they know that it's so much hard work just to go for drill and 'satisfying' the commanders? Do they know that it's so selfish of them to pon drill just cos they don feel like it? Do they know that their actions make all of us who faithfully go for drill on every day that we can feel lousy? And I personally feel that there's too many practices. Esp this week in Dec. I mean like.. At least let us enjoy this Christmas week with our church friends/school friends/family? These drill sessions and camp are helping me miss out so much of their activities. But i guess we can't help it right. We still need to go on with our camp and 1 more drill practice this year. It's all because our drill is still not up to standard. We can't get the rhythm in our head and because there are always people not turning up for drill. Therefore the commanders have to teach us everything all over again every week which is such a dread.

Let's talk about committments.
I have 3 main committments in my life now other than family and friends.

Church
I help out in the childrens' ministry. At times I really felt like giving up [too]. Cos the children now are so hard to please. They've all grown up so fast and mostly, every week they're just so sianed. But I press on and carry out my duties. Sometimes I go just for the sake of doing and just get it done and over with. But at times I find it a joy to see the smile on their faces.

GB
Yeah. Still going down for drill practices despite my super busy schedule. I even rushed down from council chalet once just because I felt that I should go and not give some lousy excuse that "oh, i got council chalet thats why I didn't go for drill." Though I have other activities going on, I skip them thinking that they might have other outings again next year and I'll definitely attend them. What's more, I think now, I'm giving my priority to GB than to church [isit a bad thing? :/ ] just cause of drill comp next year. The youths are going to sentosa tmr which I'll not be going cos of drill and they will be having a christmas celebration on the 26th which i'll not be going cos of drill camp and my duty is on for KOOL kids this sat which i'll not be helping out cos of drill camp again. My mum asked that I leave camp on saturday and come back on sunday to go to church. But I refused and told her that it'd be hard for the contingent to train with 1 or 2 people missing. What's more, as meHh said.. It might be our last camp for our sec sch life. So might as well go through it and we can reflect in the years to come that our very last camp in secondary school was drill camp blablabla. (: Don't get me wrong. I have nothing against drill. Yeah, I think that we should have drill sessions during the holidays to improve our drill and everything. But I just think that's it's too much? Idk. I din feel that way 2 years ago when we were in sec 1. Then, drill was awesome and we were all looking forward to it. Every single session. Ard 85-90% of us would be there for most of the drill sessions and we'd have fun. Our morale was high and we were eager to learn and improve our drill. But now, I have no idea what's going on. Like what Ms Tay [or rather, Mrs Goh (: ] said, our morale now is very low because every time we go for drill, we have to do the same thing over again as there're girls who didnt make it for the last drill session. Yeah, all in all... Even though I think it's too much, I still go for drill every session that I'm in sg.

Council
F2 have just finished our biggest [maybe our only?] project. Grad Night '08. I guess the Sec 4Es and 5Ns enjoyed themselves? Hopefully. To me, it was the best grad night so far that I've went to since sec 1. Actually, it was the dance floor that was the major success. Majority of them got to the dancefloor and started dancing their butts off. You should see the look on our faces.. Like.. "woah! they're really dancing?! and enjoying themselves! is this what grad night is really suppose to mean? is it true??" hahaha! But, really! We were amazed. I was super scared the night before that things will screw up and stuff. That it'll be the sameboring grad night it will be like it always was the years before. But it wasn't. So i guess we should all just have faith and pray that everything would go on fine? Yeah. And I can predict that when 2009 starts, we would have lots of projects coming our way due to the restructure and stuff. And sec 1 orientation too! Can't wait. :D There's gna be a dry run on the 29th and 30th dec. Right after drill camp. Though I'll be tired, I'll still go yea. :]

Funnn! I think we should have another one. haha! next time i'll stay up th whole night i dont care. lols.

i had to sleep cos i felt that i should go for drill th next day. haha. quite mad. Char and i rushed down to school. @__@

and those crazy people played murderer for idunnohowmany hours.

anw, we bbq-ed and cycled at night. Arshard and Shara din have bikes so Stella and I let them ride while we walk. We walked for ard 2-3 hours and we had so many things to talk about. Haha. (:

Youth Camp
Quite fun too. studied the book of jonah. :D

left on th 2nd night cos had sec 1 registration the next day. quite mad. celebrated mrs teo's belated birthday. she was so paiseh when all the councillors sang her a birthday song! haha (:



lunched after that. talked bout stuff. the guys left. tan pei-ed me for a while, sent her off and rotted at popular.[at least i bought some stuff! (: ] waited for rebecca and reuben. when they called, met them at th mrt station. then we went to the basement and ate th mango snow ice! :DD went to buy some ingredients and were debating if we should walk or take bus. decided to walk. yeah.



rebecca was abit blur that day. when we were on the way home, going to walk under th blocks alr, she said "oh, so we're walking back right. not taking bus." LOL!
then in the lift, she asked "so are they gna make the lift going to stop and every floor?"
reuben and i looked and her and gave her the O.o wtheck-are-you-talking face. Hahaha!

Kk, started making cookies. We were baking for 3-4 hours! Super mad. And we baked 400+ cookies. Is that cool or what. :DD We went to bathe. Bro came back from worship prac and we starting wrapping th cookies at 1+am. Watched High School Musial while wrapping. Lol. Slept at 2+. We were all quite tired cos the previous night they slept quite late (ard 3+am?) at youth camp. And i also had to wake up quite early for the sec 1 registration.

Woke up at like, 7++ 8am? Cos they were doing some construction and it was like super noisy. -,-
went to church at ard 3. Cos they said we had the carolling prac at 345. So the 3 of us + younger bro trained down. Super tired. Becks and I slept while standing. Haha!

After church, we gave out the cookies and took piccas! :DDD

ok yay. finally done with updating. only left with japan trip. might post it up next year? Haha! Dunno luh. (:

22nd & 23rd - Drill
24th - Christmas Dinner with Family
25th - Christmas!!
26th - 28th - Drill Camp.

Drill all the way man. Don't even have time to go out and have fun with friends. And my church youths got this christmas celebration on the 26th also cannot go. Arghhh!

Really really hope that our drill can improve. We're sacrificing so much of our holidays and yet it's still not up to standard.
