Grad Night yesterday was awesome!!
Most of them came in black and/or white. Which the f2 people were shocked. Because we didn't really expect them to follow the theme. :D
K so i met yasmine at bishan mrt. Went to popular to get the puncher thing. Ginger bread man! :D
Took th bus to school, waited for the rest and went to Orchard Hotel!
Felt kinda sleepy, so listened to music and closed my eyes for awhile. Din know what was going on. Lol!
Reached the hotel room. Wow. What a bigggg suite we had. HAHA. Yeah right. 13 of us squeezed in one small room. -,- Some of us cut out the nomination slips, some blew th balloons, some were rehearsing their script.
After a while, some of us needed to answer nature's call. But th toilet din have space cos it was fully filled with balloons! So we had to go to the lobby's toilet. Sun bian helped the rest to buy dinner too. Waited for Liyana and her dad drove us to Forum. They only had macs there. And our budget was too tight. So we walked to Lido and bought kfc. After much thought and consideration, we bought 2 feast Bs and 3 Zinger meals. :D Got the food and left the building.. And thennn, i realised we forgot to take the receipt! Ran back up with yasmine, got the receipt and ran back down. Walked real quickly back to the hotel because time was running out. Perspiring like mad. Went up to the hotel room, super hot. And it didnt help since there were 18 of us crammed inside there. Stella, Charolette, Sharavana, Arshad and Rayson joined us. (: Yep, helped Tan cut the program sheet while the rest were eather eating or wrapping up th prizes. Super hot in the room. Haha! Shared half a zinger burger with Char. Then went down to change. Kranji Sec was having their Grad Night there too!
Got changed, refreshed and started deco-ing the room. Char, Amirah and i were at the reception table. Amirah and I punched their tickets with cows/men! Hahaha.
K so everything started. I think it was quite good. Even though they didnt really listen to the speeches and the emcees. But at least most of them took part in the games and the nominations(:
Thennn, after presenting the prizes and everything.. The most awesome part of the night began! Presentingggg : the Dancefloor!
At first they didn't go up and we were kinda panic-ing. But Mrs Teo told us to relax and that this is their night. If they dont wna dance, let them be. So we did. After awhile, a guy and Ms Wong went up to dance! And slowly, a table of girls went up too and before you knew it, almost everyone was on the dancefloor! Could see them enjoying themselves. We, too, definitely enjoyed ourselves too! Danced a lil [like mad] and went to the back to help ourselves to their left over food. Niceee! :DD
Took piccas with the councillors and the NZ people! :DD
This year's grad night was really great. Better than last year's. Awesome job Functions 2!
K now that Grad Night's over. The next big thing coming up is the Cambodia trip. Hope everything would go on fine too!
We'll be flying off tmr early in the morning. Sooo, yeah. Will be seeing you guys soon? Haha! Take care!
