the days might be a little confusing cos of the time difference =\
1st Day need to be at the airport at 4pm and i only started packing at ard 2pm hahah! pro! and i only forgot to pack in my cup, plate, fork and spoon which wasnt needed at all durin th camp. rushed my mom to help me buy fer nth lols. anws. was a little late when we reached there.. quite alot of people to send their friends and/or family member off. was quite sad having to leave my family for more than a week. my dad said 'you would be all on your own when u walk past that glass wall.' and i really felt that i needed to take care of my own health and look after my own things. ohwells, boarded th plane to kl. sat beside amirah and liyana. =] reached kl and waited for th plane.. almost everyone sat beside someone we didnt know but we were sitting in the same row. not column. lol. but since there was a teevee, i didnt really mind hahah. watched high school musical 2, a lil bit of simpsons, a lil bit of hairspray and half of no reservations. i watched a lil bit og hairspray and simpsons cos i found them quite boring.. watched half of no reservations cos we reached new zealand alr. hahhahah! im sure i watched somemore shows but i guess i fogot. =\ anw reached the airport and boarded th bus, and went to eat some lunch. i ate a sandwich. they said that its toasted but its actually cold. anw after that we had a long bus ride to opc - outdoor pursuit centre bout 3 or 4 hours? was tryin to sleep most of th time. but th guys were quite funny, making jokes and stuff ahhahaha. reached there, was freakin cold.. ohyes! the nanyang girls were there alr.. playin volleyball. lol. we were shocked. cos there we were shivering and there they were playin volleyball.. @_@ anw after we put all our laguage down in our chalets, we went to have dinner. i still could rmb we had butter chicken!! very niceeee!! could eat another one but don wan. ahhaha. kinda forgot what we did after that, think we were split into our groups. as we had buddies, the teachers purposely split us up into different groups. but i still love group 2!! they consist of...
amirah, shalin, ducky, robin, jordan, dion, ahmad, shara and ezra. yupyup! group 2 rocks!!! our instructer was christina and the teacher in charge was mr lim!!
2nd Daywe played quite alot of games. it was super FUNN!! :D one game was the marshmellow and hot chocolate, one was where we needed to smack people's legs and shout a word that sounds that there's th f word in there. hahaha. so obviously the guys took advantage of it and another game was the trust fall. i love that one!! should have done it higher =\ anw, we also did the magic tie one where we piggybacked each other up till 3
stories people high. one person can only wear the magic tie one way. yea so the goal was to bring all of the group members over to the other side of the field. hahahs. i got piggy backed by ducky at first den got piggy backed by jordan who was being piggy backed by ahmad. we then played the rope game where supposed to form a star blindfolded. we did the arranging of our birthdays on a log. played the one which have the 2 legs on one plank and we got to 'walk' for a distance. ahhahaha. after that was the TRUST FALL!! omgosh i LOVE this one!! AHHH!! its quite scary but superrrrr funn!! its like there's a staircase for u to go up and your group members would be at the bottom ready to catch you when u fall. so their arms would be out stretched. hahah damn cool la! i thought they would break their hands or sth and i was quite scared when i was about to fall, but when i felt my group members' arms on my back i felt really safe. =) after that we had some indoor games where we were given different pages of a book not in sequence. each of us were given bout 3-4 pages and we were supposed to try to figure out which page comes first, by describing what our picture/page shows. and we got it correct!! hahahha. after that was dinner i think. lunch was somewhere in between all the games. lol. OHYES. we were suppose to pass our passports to our teachers in the morning but i couldnt find it!! i was so scared luh. felt quite useless when i searched the whole place, my bags, my bed, the floor... etc. decided to give up and continue to find it later at night. then while christina were briefing us on what we were gna do during the day, liyana told me that she found my passport in my jacket!! =DD THANKS LIYANA!! <3>
3rd Day - Monday - Water Day
ok it waS supposed to be water day but since it was raining for the past few days, we went to do other stuff like CAVING!! omgosh it was chao fun!! yea we did other stuff too. i'll move on to those after im done with caving :D
there were quite small holes that we needed to squeeze through during caving.. thought that i wouldnt be able to squeeze through them but i kept reminding myself that if other people can do it, so could i!! yep so managed to squeeze through them quite easily!! :DD shalin's shirt was even torn cos of a small part of a rock that was jutting out as she was climbing over it and her shirt got stuck. hehh. anw the whole group went in clean and dry but came out dirty and wet. but we still had fun yea!! we forgot to take an after photo after caving as we took a before one to compare.. ohwells. after we squeezed out the last hole, christina gave us some leaves which she said was coca cola leaves. she said that it'll be spicy at first but the cola flavour would come out at the later part, din believe her at first but since everyone was already chewing the leaves, i decided to join in the "fun". after we couldnt take it and started to spit it out, she said that it was actually pepper leaves. wth. so she and jacob watched us dumbly chewing on those stupid pepper leaves believing her that its cola leaves.. ~__~ my tongue was like BURNING!! nutz. anw we went to see snow top mountains after we ate our sandwhich lunches. it was b-e-a-utiful! after which we had some prison break thing. where there were only 3 walls and we had to get the whole group to climb over it. its really a high wall.. much much higher than the 2m wall we have in school. since i was the lightest girl in that group, they tried to get me up after jordan and ahmad managed to climb up without much help. the rules were that only 3 people could be up on top of the wall at any one time and only 2 people could use the ladder. so they tried to push me up that wall.. i tried and failed like 3 times? and i zao geng-ed aloT la!! my shirt went like half way up. omgosh damn paiseh cann.. ><" cos i din tuck in my shirt before i attempted to try whats worse was that the guys were right below me trying to push me up. nuts!! den the guys keep making fun of me.. - -" and because of that high wall, i've got blue blacks on both of my arms which are still recovering until now. haiz but it was quite alot of fun though!! after we managed to climb over to the other side, christina started to put mud on our faces.. you knw those type of facial type of mud.. yea.. lols. it was quite cooling and nice! so our whole group and mr lim had mud on their faces!! the guys' one were much messier of course.. xD ohyea. the prison wall thing right, the method that our group used was that a guy carry another guy on his shoulders and lets say i, would be stepping on their shoulders and helmets. i felt really bad cos im sure it hurts and they din really complain much. sorry guys!! and i din only step on them once but twice or maybe even thrice!! so sorry!! after breakin prison, we went for the... FLYING FOX!! it was damn fun luh!! seeing all the scenery below you was just so cooL!! jacob came half way and when it was dion's turn, he attached a plastic bag with water in it and dion got all wet!! ahahhahah! super funny!! den when it was jacob's turn, he took revenge, wanted 2 bags of water but christina didnt allow, so kept the other bag.. after we pulled jacob in, christina would usually fasten us to the carribrina to take out the harness, but this time she asked robin to do it so i thought she would splash the water at jacob but nooo, she splashed it at dion instead!! hahah!! we laughed like crazy.
after flyin fox we went back to opc to bathe and stuff. after eating dinner, we went to the lounge and watched 4 guys playing table tennis. they switch turns after they get tired. super funny la!! like everytime they hit the ball across the table, they got to say sth like lets say the topic is 'animals' or sth.. den they got to say an animal's name.. but they'll say it in a different or/and funny way.. they'll change the names a little and it'll be damn damn funny! like monkey god.. hyena and stuff like that. all inside jokes. :D after that had some presentation by us, all the groups presented what we did for that day, we acted as though we were caving and when we saw the glow worms. omgosh! robin's acting was really reallY spastic!! its so funnY!! we all laughed till our stomach hurts. din know he was such a good actor. following,went back to our bunks not to sleep, but to wash our clothes and stuff. the guys were veryvery 'helpful'. we were there tryin to wash our clothes nice and clean, trying to squeeze out most of the water with our very numb hands because of the cold water while they were there talking.. - -" but it was also quite fun luh. talkin to them and stuff. i think that's the time when even group 1 and group 2 members bond together!! :D ohyes! and i rmb that on that very night, while washin clothes, jordan was singing smack that all on the floor den i continued to myself smack that gimme somemore... den dunno who i think dion heard it and started to tease me wth!! felt like really smacking him lols. ~__~
after finished washin clothes, went to the bunk and played uno i think.. hahahh. funn!!
Day 4 - Tuesday
woke up at like 6am cos group 2 had morning duty. just mainly set up the tables and peeled potatoes for dinner. we had pancakes for breakfast and there was LOTS of bread left cos i think almost everyone was eating the pancakes as they allowed us to ask for more.. yep so all the break was wasted.. =\ anw, after cleaning up everything and stuff, we packed our bags and got ready for mountain climbing and abselling. first, we abseiled down a fountainwater fall lol. cos at first dion kept saying that it was a fountain den he spread the 'disease' to most of us so we started calling it a fountain hahhah !! anw it was beautiful. its really once in a lifetime experience. we took a group photo there, the guys were doing all sorts of stupid funny poses for each diff camera.. my one was when they act gay. lol.. do all the sissy poses. ahhahaha.
since we speant quite a long time there, we had lesser time for the mountain climbing but itsok! cos we still had so much funn!! snowball fighting rocks to the max cann!! we were like.. just throwing ice at each other, stuffing them down each other's shirts and stuff. i think while i was minding my own business, talking to amirah, robin suddenly slid behind me and purposely kicked some snow to me, den suddenly more people joined in, was busy covering my face and shirt but still got kena-ed in the end.. - -!! it didnt only happen to me once but maybe twice or thrice! ><" even though it was cold but it was very very funNN!! we also kinda bashed mr lim up since he was the teacher there.. dion pulled him down after some struggle. he really kena alot hahahs. dion and jordan also.. haha!! ^^ really very fun. u don really bother to roll them up nicely into snowballs, u just fling some snow onto them as long as snow hits them ure happy :D esp in their faces.. hahah!! super funnn!!! went back to opc, bathed and discussed with the other group how exciting each of our activities were and had dinner!! had lamb chicks. really really nicee!! i love the food at opc!
Day 5 - Wednesday
todays was the day when we had our overnight experience!!
but we had rafting in the morning first!! RAFTING WAS VERY VERY VERY VERY FUNN!! superrr funnnnn! first row was ahmad and robin, 2nd row was amirah, shalin and ezra, 3rd row was saha, ducky and jordan, 4th row was dion and i. but the rows are nt really rows ah.. just estimate here and there. hahah lols. we were given the job to set up the raft with tyres first while christina drives the van to somewhere and she rides her bike to where we were, so while we were waiting for her to come, after finishing tying up the ropes and stuff, the guys started playing and jumping on the tyres den suddenly, when jordan was playing, a tyre burst-ed. -.= since there wasnt any extra tyres, we had to make do with one and jordan got to sit on that one. lols. anw there was one part where we were going backwards really fast and we were at the side, so all the tree branches and roots were brushing against us. when i wanted to look what was coming up next behind, i couldnt even take a look for a second, felt a big tree bang against my back.. was kinda shocked and really pain.. had a headache for awhile and everything was back to normal.. den we paddled somemore, and after christina gave us some intructions, we were off again! went towards the currents and had lots of fun!! suddenly out of no where, there was this big current and i got thrown off the raft! as i wasnt prepared, i didnt hold me breath and was really struggling to find air, and since dion was like behind me and was holding on to my life jacket, i kinda pulled him into the waters as well. if he hadnt pulled me up at that second, i would have lost consciousness alr.. ahahhaha. was really really out of breath. struggled my way back up to the raft.. just a few seconds after i got on to the raft, christina told us to get down and strenghten the raft again.. -.= waste my energy, should have stayed in th water longer.. hahah. we had to strengthen it because one of dion's tyre's got burst too.. hahah so thats what he gets for laughing at jordan when he burst his tyre. ohya! at ard the first part, robin was already in the waters.. ahahha so funny luh just went in alr got thrown off the raft den he couldnt grab our raft in time so got to hold on to christina's kayak den he say got all the rocks hitting against his back.. ouch.
we went to pack our stuff in the afternoon? and set off to hike to Jo's cave. someone drove us down a lil bit and from there we had to find our way there through the map and compass we were given. it got kinda dark at ard 7++ 8.. so we gotta use our torchlights to find our way ard. we kinda got lost but found our way through in the end. so reached the cave at ard 9+++ 10pm? settled down, ate dinner and some went to sleep. yani, ezra and ahmad had an early night while the rest of us, shalin, robin, shara, dion, jordan, amirah and i stayed up. wanted to stay up till the next morning to see the sunrise but didnt in the end. D: cos shalin went off to sleep first den amirah also wanted to go sleep, and since i was feeling a little bit tired i went to sleep too, so in the end the guys who wanted to stay up also went to sleep heh. really regretted not staying up cos i think that will also be the time when we can really bond with each other yea!but its too late for regrets now. looking more on the positive side, at least we got some rest so that we had enough energy to hike all the way back from Jo's cave to opc!
Day 6 - Thursday
it was like a 2-3 hours non-stop hike? through trees, bushes, branches, everything! got cuts by tryin ti push the leaves to one side, couldnt really feel them at first but when u see it bleeding, u'll be able to feel the cut. hahah. but i think its quite cool seeing ur hand covered with cuts and dried blood. :D it was quite fun going up those slopes. dunno why but i really enjoyed it. even though i felt tired, i din wna give up but wanted more. ahahahhahs. dion so bad luh, dunno why suddenly only me, shara and dion were at the back den dion say both of them run and keave me behind. D: haha but of cos he didnt in the end. den after that shalin and jordan came behind and joined us lols. i also really enjoyed the time when there were big puddles of mud water and all of us except ducky and christina waded through those puddles. ducky was really living up to her name! lols. it was fun on the whole. ohya! when we were on the road reaching opc, jordan and dion still had the strength to run until the sign there. crazy. ahahhaha. neways, went back, packed up. returned gears and cleaned the chalets. was really quite rushed but we still managed to finish it in the end. for the first time i heard that the guys toilet was cleaner than the girls'. hahah. i guess it because they used their hands to pick up the litter and rubbish? =\ && they had more time! lol. anw, we had a simple lunch and had our last group meeting. we recalled what we did for the past few days in opc and christina wrote it on a paper. saha kept it. she also showed us a paper with 3 questions on it. 1st qst was sth like what was the most memorable event. 2nd qst was what have you learnt bout yourself, team...etc. 3rd qst highlights of the camp. so my answers were :
1 : tube rafting and caving
2 : that we must really work together as a team in order to finish and complete tasks given to us easily
3 : the guys teasing me -.=
ahahha. but really lor they teased me alot. but it was still fun !!
ohyes i only can rmb jordan's last question's answer.. it was that exagerating action of my 'wa lao ehh' lol dno since when i 'wa lao eh-ed' like that b4.. T__T see, one of the ways how the guys tease me D:
after we answered the questions, christina handed each of us one of our group member's certificate. ducky got mine and i got ahmad's. i don really talk to ahmad much during the camp prolly cos he seems so fierce? i dno. =\ so i just thanked him for bringin fun and laughter to our group.. i guess he did at times.. like the time where he farted really loudly in the cave. even christina got a shock. haha! anw after we finished, group 1 was alr outside playing volleyball waiting for us. we then took one last kcp photo and group photo in opc den off we went to rotorua~! think we stopped at the huka falls first cos we didnt had a chance to go there on the first day as we were slow moving and late. hahah. it was really nice there! when i showed my family the photos, my bro said it was the exact pictures of what he took the other time! lol. but quite true ah cos only got afew places to take pictures there.
so after the huka falls, we went off to rotorua. cant rmb if we stopped anywhere for anything.. but i can only rmb that on the busride, i was sitting on the outside and liyana was sitting on the inside. i was tryin to slp with my head resting on my arm which was on the handrest, then desmond kept moving my arm, waking me up.. grrr. so managed to sleep for a little while here and there before he disturbs me again. reached our resort centre there and were allocated our rooms. i bunked in with liyana alicia and amirah :D we went off to some chinese restaurant for dinner. buffet style. sat with liyana amirah mr lim and jacob. hahha had some laughs here and there. jacob said that he's gna have 6 course dinner but by the 2nd course, he was already quite full! lol so the 3 of us made him go get somemore courses as he promised. we said it must fill up his plate so guess wad, he took a damn small plate and put like 1 or 2 small things on it.. - -!! den at his 5th course, we told him must be different kinds of food den he took all ice cream but different flavours. wth! den his 6th course was a cup of coffee. ok anw, ater dinner we went off to pak n save to get some stuff for the night like chips, sweets and drinks. when we reached back to our rooms, we did laundry!! but not with our hands duH!! we happily dumped our clothes into the washing machine and dryer!! so while waiting for our clothes to finish washing and dryin, the guys played pool while the girls just watched tv.. the guys kept smacking my head! nutz.. anw.. we kinda "partied" after that.. played indian poker uno and murderer.. u knw the squeeze hand version? yep.. quite fun ah esp when ure the murderer and kills everybody so quickly.. :DD ohyes and through that game, i found out that jordan's hands are sweaty! lol !! anw, indian poker was also funn!! the forfeit was to beat someone's hand or to smack his/her ear.. i nvr kena either one of them :D after that was uno!! jordan kept seeing my cards, i kept seeing amirah's cards.. lol ! cos we were all sitting so close to each other wahahhaha. after awhile, they went back to their rooms and had an early night. =\
Day 7 - Friday
shopping day!! but in the morning we went to sit the luge and it was really really funn!! sat it 3 times! we went really fastt.. rayson even went too fast that he went off the road and fell down a slope. (hey it rhymes!) so when we were sitting the chairlift up, we saw him struggling to pull himself and the luge up.. lols. poor thing. =\ after that we went to the swoop place. swoop was freaking funn!! but it was a lil scary though.. but still damn funn!! went wil amos in the middle and liyana. i was at the other side where i had to pull this string so that we would get loose from the machine which would then drop us. dno how high it was though.. but it was reallyy highhhh. but supoer fun luhh. =D we went to play the zorb after that.. got into 2 groups.. was in the same group as dion jordan liyana and abigail.. dion backed out in the end cos they din offer the dry zorb and he din wna spend money buyin clothes.. so it was left to the 4 of us. waited for quite some time before the van arrived.. we wanted to do the zig zag one but only one person could do it at one time so it wouldnt be much fun.. when it was our turn, the guy told us that the max number of people in a zorb is only 3.. so we were like wth??! cos at the board downstairs there they say 4+.. - -'' so in the end liyana grabbed me and abigail and jordan went down together.. we were screaming all the way down luh super funn!! even b4 we started rolling down we were all wet alr because we had water fight.. super funn!! theyhelped us take some pics but we didnt get to see them cos of time constraint. we were really rushing like mad! cos our shopping time was cut down by about 1 hr? patheticc. anw, we were bused down to the shopping place.. its like a city with lots of buildings. so first we had lunch den went to search for souveniers and stuff. at first liyana, amirah and i went off first cos the rest of the girls were looking at shoes and we got quite bored.. so wondered off, found dion and shijie wonderin ard too so we went off together hunting for souvenier shops. i kinda bought very little stuff for family and friends cos there was just too little time! bought lotsss of chocs from pak n save with amirah last min cos yosuf they all told the both of us that warehouse was closed already.. so yep.. bought lots of chocs and they were like all dropping from my hands! so paiseh.. =\ rushed back to the bus and liyana and i think desmond? told us that they were tryin to find us . sorry guyss!! went back to our rooms, had buffet for dinner too! food was quite okay.. had chicken, beef and mutton. don eat chicken though and beef was kinda tough. ohyes! we saw the nanyang girls there too! we were really shocked when we saw them at our resort there.. anw after our dinner, we went back to our rooms to pack for the next earlyy morning. packed till it was time to meet the ny girls to decide for the most caring pupil award.. i thought that that really wasted our time.. got kinda irritated and disgusted by them.. could see the rest were too.. anw after that, most of us gathered in our room again but this time we din play games.. D: some were playin by themselves, some were just talkin to each other, the rest were tryin to sleep.. ugh. totally not fun.. so in the end, amirah, liyana, desmond, ..?? (forgot who) and i went down to the lounge to talk and watch some tv. got kinda bored so went back up to our room and played cards.. amirah and liyana said that they're gna have a short nap but in the end they slept all the way.. so left with desmond and jordan and me.. played for a lil while more den desmond got tired so he slept on my bed.. - -" end up i plaed thati with jordan alone.. pathetic.. played till 2+++ den woke desmond up and went to bed at ard 3+ hahahs.
Day 8 - Saturday
woke up, had breakfast and set off to the airport! but we had a break at dunno where for breakfast.. went to macs with dion jordan shijie alicia amirah and liyana. :D kinda pathetic their meals there but nice also.. they serve hot chocolate with marshmellows!! nicenice!! went back to the bus and went off the the airport!! managed to sleep here and there cos of desmond again lol.. got our tickets, werent really sitting next to the girls.. heck.. din knw why we din bother to change hahah.. so end up i sat next to dion and ezra. din talk much to ezra though hahah! dion kept disturbing me say wad i jealous .. wth. - -" kept smackinghis head with the pillow lols. ohyeah i couldnt really sleep much on the plane cos they kept disturbing me too!! nutz. managed to watch a few shows here and there.. this the only shows i managed to watch finish was the even stevens family and just for laughs.. lols. ohyes. they played some game that can play with alot of people.. so most of kcp were playin.. i din really bother to join in cos they alr knew all the words.. alicia too lols. so just watched them play ahhahaha.
after that long 10 hour plane ride, we finsally reached kl and had ard 45 min to walk ard? bought some chocoloate latte thing and starbucks with a S$5o and the change was RM$90++ ahhahaha lols. oh and the plane from kl to singspore was really emptyy..!! most of them were sleeping.. ducky called vic and i to go to the back, thoght she wanted to talk with us or sth but in the end is only both of us talking while the rest were sleepin hah. the only thing i can rmb from that convo was that vic doesnt want to stead until she's about 18 or 19yrs old.. why?? cos she wants to concentrate on her studies and so that she can flirt with other guys.. - -!! wth lol.
got down the plane, took our bags/laggages and went home sweet home.. :D
slept at 4+am on sunday morning and woke up at 530pm on sunday afternoon!! ahahhaha. sleep so long i din even know.. could have slept longer but bro woke me up.. haiz..
monday!
went to sch for some pri 6 invitation thing.. at 7.30am.. they were quite naughty and playful.. esp the guys.. the girls were quite nice though.. :D
ok enough of typing.. i guess this post is quite long? XD congrats to those who read everything.. i might have bore-d you to death. hahahs. pictures next time!!
